new concept has hit the world of Stand up. Life imitating art…usually used to describe the tragic demise of an actor similar to a grisly fate they once portrayed on screen, but here it applies to something a little more light hearted. Top comics from TV, Radio and Stage will be sharing their stories from the world of stand up.

This Comedian Live, will give an insight into a specific part of the comedians life, not the usual stories about their significant other, or their literally stomach wrenching trip to the costa del sol. They’ll be opening up on their careers, highs and lows of life on stage.

Expect to see some familiar faces in the line up with many regularly appearing on QI, Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and more. James Acaster, Sara Pascoe, Katherine Ryan, to name a few. The show is part of a multi platform documentary project by Idil Sukan.

Launching on Monday 26th January with more shows to be announced.
