of in the know fashion folk flocked to our prized capital over the weekend; all in aid of finding out what exactly humans of the male form will be wearing this coming Autumn / Winter. Yes you guessed it, London Collections: Men! The sheer fact that we have something so strong revolving around the awareness of menswear in our very own town is a thing of brilliance. It is not an easy garb to lure the top editors in the fashion world out of the comfort of their cosy little offices but the exuberance, keep-em-guessing nature our home grown talent certainly does that. We are very proud of what our country has produced and that is why we want to show off our 3 favourite shakers, all of course born and raised on UK soil.

AGI + SAM

To say these boys don’t have a personality in their brand would be an absolute travesty – Agi + Sam injected their infectious sense of playfulness once again into a really strong AW15 collection, this collection saw black as a prominent background colour bringing a mature tone to the show. The collection was inspired by a collection Agi designed when he was 4 entitled ‘The Coolman Collection’ – 4 FLAMING YEARS OLD, while most of us were Teddy bear rolling on the floor he was sketching the future. Prints were bold and the models faces were covered in Lego, nifty.

JAMES LONG

Darling boy of the Menswear schedule produced a collection of luxury sportswear that will leave even the most uptight suit wearing city boy craving for a black and blue lace bomber. Yehp, you heard it here first. Long perfectly collaged an array of fabrics and techniques to create his most refined collection to date. The odes to womenswear throughout the collection though may take some winning over on our part, and shorts in Winter? Brrrr.

DUNHILL

Three words perfectly summarise the new collection from Dunhill – THE IMITATION GAME. Every model that strutted out of that catwalk looked like they were getting ready to crack enigma with good old Cumberbatch and his memory bunch. Hands down, definitely the slickest and one of the most wearable shows this season, there is something for everybody in this collection. We saw pyjamas being turnt into casual everyday clothing (your girlfriends will be rocking these this Spring but us gents will wait until no one is expecting in Autumn) right through to the most humble of three piece suits. New collection for the modern working gentleman.
