Broadway’s latest restaurant quite literally brings the beach to you. Spiaggia, the all day Italian beach-themed joint, offers a laid back dining experience whilst transporting you all the way to the Italian Riviera. Leave the winter outside and step inside for instant summer VIBEZZZ. The decor plays up to its beach theme perfectly: pastel hues, sand filled tables, sun loungers, neon signs, hanging lifebuoys and giant ‘RESERVED’ beach towels. Yep it would seem Germans also go to the Italian Riviera…

The menu splits itself into Piattini (Italian tapas), Piadina (grilled Italian flatbreads), Salads, Pastas and Spiedini (chargrilled skewers) as well as a helping of Specials. We sampled an array of dishes including the aubergine parmigiana bites, fresh calamari, chargrilled spring chicken with a side of truffle mash and king prawn & tomato skewers – bellissimo! Of course, it wouldn’t be a true Italian meal if it didn’t end with tiramisu…

Don’t miss the downstairs bar either AKA ‘Lower Deck’, which serves up cocktails in a relaxed beachy setting. You can literally sprawl out on the daybeds, play a spot of table football and watch a movie on the big screen all the while forgetting you’re right in the middle of Fulham…Who said Winter beach holidays had to be expensive?
