Brrrrrr…can you feel the chill? The temperature has definitely dropped these past couple o’ days and this can only mean one thing…time to get the woolly jumpers out and sip on a hot toddy.
You can do just that at Le Chalet from 22nd October, an Alpine style restaurant on the roof top of Selfridges, part of Des McDonald’s ‘On the roof’ residencies. Inspired by a traditional ski chalet, designer Alexander Waterworth has kitted out the terrace with timber branches, wintry ferns and soft low lighting.
You’ll feel as though you’ve been whisked away to a cosy retreat and dine on an Alpine inspired barbeque menu alongside a crab and shellfish bar. There’ll be a log cabin, and a hot chocolate cocktail bar to escape the seasonal chill too, the perfect way to welcome in winter.
