not gonna lie, we’re finding it hard to keep up with all these new openings and thus The Laundry Canteen and Bar went a little under our radar. But that’s no bad thing, it just means you can get in there sharpish before the crowds descend.

Located just off London Fields, the space is big, bright and airy with an outside seating area to make the most of the last of the summer sun. Open from breakfast through to brunch, lunch and dinner we swung by for our favourite meal of the week, a late weekend brunch.

The menu is bang on trend with plenty of avo dishes and the likes of Full English (veggie and meaty), Huevos Rancheros and Sweetcorn Fritters. Our favourite, was without doubt the Full English, a HUGE plate with two sausages, mound of bacon, two eggs cooked your way, black pudding, creamy tarragon mushrooms, slow roast tomato and sour dough (LESS OF THE GREENS THOUGH YEAH!)….Oh then there’s the triple cooked chips and garlic mayo and homemade baked beans.

At under a tenner for this big plate of brekkie scran it’s not bad value either…
