It’s pretty phenomenal to think that this Assuie bands UK debut gig at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen sold out…whats the hype? Well, it helps that the indie electro trio make awesome music…so much so that they have over 2 million plays on their soundcloud…yes we said 2 mill-i-on! Plus BBC Radio 1 airplay, a spot on Triple J’s iconic Hottest 100, rotation on Sirius Alt Nation, the soundtrack to a Banana Republic ad campaign, Hype Machine #1s…impressive eh! So if you know your groove, you’re going to want to get involved in what is sure to be the ‘Panama’ phenomenon.

The Hoxton Sq Bar was indeed packed out on a Tuesday night to see the only band on the bill. The rooms is filled with disco beats, soaring synth and melodies which are instantly embeded into your head. Panama are infectious, upbeat and awesome to watch with each song sounding like a single in it’s own right. The biggest shout from the crowd came from their latest single ‘Always’ as a sea of arms shot into the air. Sexy stuff this.
