LEXINGTON
2ND AUGUST 2014

Unless you have been hiding underneath a rock, it will come as no surprise that here at LOTI we are big fans of Telegram. Having only formed one year ago, they have gone from strength to strength, having completed successful UK tours with Temples, Palma Violets and Miles Kane – including an appearances at Secret Garden Party, Field Day among others as well as having just returned from playing dates in Japan.

A few weeks back we were lucky enough to watch them headline at The Lexington, alongside Novella and The Eskimo Chain. With the room packed to the rafters, they kicked-off the evening with a show-stopper. If there is one thing that they do and do well, is get the crowd’s attention. Skin-tight black jeans, even tighter t-shirts and just the right amount of attitude to power through a stonkingly energetic set. Favourites included their recently released ‘Rule Number One’, as well as their debut single ‘Follow’. A good old fashioned mix of British psych and glam; what’s not to love?
