opened in the heart of Kings Cross, new restaurant T.E.D are, in their own words, putting ‘the green in gourmet’. T.E.D stands for Think, Eat, Drink and it’s concept is to change the way people think about the food they eat by bringing a real feel good experience without compromising taste or quality…we can vouch, we had a Totally.Excellent.Dinner! (CRINGE – we know!)

Managing to create an inviting space that looks uber modern and clean, T.E.D on all accounts looks the part, with furniture, fixtures and fittings sustainably sourced and restored. Diving straight into the cocktail menu we favoured the Rhubarb Fizz but there’s plenty of choice with seasonal and sparkling options.

The food here was faultless, Dorset crab with sourdough and radishes was light and summery, beautifully presented with an impressive portion of crab. The Cornish Pollock with peas, bacon and lettuce was awash with colour and tasted as good as it looked, the fish flaking into thick chunks.

For dessert we had to try the chocolate soup…which is, well chocolate soup. OK, not quite a mousse, it’s like the special sauce you get in a sundae and manages to be dense and light at the same time. Just like T.E.D YOU.HAVE.TO.TRY.IT!
