restaurant Iberica has opened it’s doors in Farringdon and it’s pretty bloody nice. As well as serving up a menu of authentic Spanish dishes, there’s sangria, cocktails, vino and the decors not bad either.

Whilst you’re trawling the menu we’d suggest nibbling on the toasted bread loaded with tomato. Then kick things right off with the cured meat and cheeses, the jamon iberico is the daddy-o of the charcuterie and shouldn’t be missed. Other highlights included the suckling pig, perfectly cooked, tender meat full of flavour with a light, crunchy crackling. Then there’s the serrano ham croquettes, crispy parcels of creamy potato and highly addictive.

The mini burgers with secreto pork loin are also worthy of a place on the table and, if you can fit anything else in, the caramelised rice pudding got the thumbs up from us. Wash it all down with some beer sangria and you’re on to a winner. For killer Spanish food in London, Iberica is where it’s at.
