April Busaba Eathai, that fab Thai restaurant that can be found all over London and Street Feast are teaming up to create a Thai New Year Songkran Festival. It is going to be held on Sunday 13th April in the new Fairground venue on Kingsland Road, Hackney and will hold over three floors of Thai food, culture and fun.

Executive Chef Jude Sangsida has created a new menu, inspired by his recent trip to Thailand which you can get your mitts on at the Busaba Eathai pop-up restaurant.

But it’s not all just about the food – although that’s a good enough reason in itself. The Songkran Festival promises to bring a cultural hub to the East End and offers Thai cookery classes, music and dancing and even animal mask making and pandan cupcake decorating for the little’uns – making this event super family friendly. And what’s even better is that it’s totally FREE!
