a new restaurant on Park Lane and it’s menu celebrates four lanes in London, the clue’s in the name. Lanes of London serves dishes and drinks based on Kingsland Road, Edgware Road, Portobello Road and Brick Lane. That’s Vietnamese, Lebanese, British and Indian incase you didn’t know.

We started with a Ka’Hawa cocktail from the Edgeware Road section, a take on the espresso martini complete with smoking cinnamon stick and a Pi-nam Colada from the Kingsland Road section, a twist on the classic with peanut ice-cream.

When it came to food we went through the whole of London, standout dishes were the crispy Paneer Pakoras with Kachumber salad and mint chutney, the salt baked pumpkin salad with creamy goats cheese, black quinoa and pumpkin seeds. But the winning dish had to be the bad boy Beef Brisket Sliders, small mounds of juicy meat in buns served with roasted bone marrow and horseradish cream to whack on the top. JOB DONE.

Desserts were equally as pleasing, a ginger cake and pear cobbler finished us off. Interiors are sexy, service was efficient and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. Looks like Lanes of London is a great addition to the Park Lane dining scene
