three month pop-up has opened way out West on the Kings Road in Chelsea. The pop-up comes from ex Nobu chef Scott Hallsworth and the food menu is Japanese – think sushi, Hirata buns and Robata dishes.

Set in a bistro style venue, it’s pretty cosy, but the rock’n’roll sound track drowns out your neighbours gossip. We sampled a selection of dishes, highlights included; the crispy Shrimp Tempura Maki with Sweet Unagi Sauce sushi, the hearty Pumpkin Tempura with Pickled Pumpkin and Creamy Spicy Shiso Dressing and the juicy BBQ Pork Belly in Steamed Buns with Spicy Peanut Soy.

Whilst you wait we’d also recommend getting stuck into some of the Crunchy Rice Senbei Crisps with Avocado-Jalapeno Dip and afterwards try one of the desserts, you’ll be surprised but defo in a good way!

The bad news is the pop-up closes in December, the good news is there is a permanent restaurant in the pipeline, all set to open in Marylebone. WIN, WIN!
