has quite the rep, although it’s mainly for the celebrity clientele rather than the food. The Pan Asian restaurant is located in Camden Market, up the escalator. Inside it’s a bit Las Vegas, think glitzy night club, only once you’re in your private booth elevated above the main dining area you don’t notice too much.

The restaurant recently launched a new menu including a tuna sashimi and truffle pizza. Whilst that may sound adventurous it’s the world’s hottest chilli menu that caught our eye, so spicy it needs a disclaimer. So after signing our life away we dived into the Green Mango and Papaya salad. Hot to trot, this bad boy was so fiery we couldn’t finish it.

The food we tried was all fresh and tasty, standout dishes from the starters included the juicy black cod and prawn dumplings and the Mr Chang sushi roll with tempura prawn, spicy mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce. For mains the Hoba Miso Chilean Seabass nailed it, the meaty, super soft fish was coated in a sweet, sticky sauce – our favourite of the lot whilst crispy chilli chicken was just that.

Service was top notch, there’s a decent cocktail list too but prices aren’t cheap. Worth checking out though, even if it’s just to see what is actually up that elevator.
