you can’t wait for the opening of Tim Anderson’s Nanban in Shoreditch then fear not the chef will be hosting a Matsuri (Japanese for festival in case you didn’t know) at one of our favourite venues Dalston Roof Park.

The food festival will feature food from Nanban’s menu, and if Tim’s pop-up at The Prince Arthur is anything to go by you can expect some quirky Japanese dishes. Other vendors in attendance will be Sho Foo Doh, Tonkotsu, Doya, Pom Pom and Petit Gateau with Background Bars serving the drinkies. There’s also animated cinema, taiko troupes, illustration drawing classes and Japanese psychedelic soul.

Tickets are £8 and go on sale now with food priced from £3 – £6. The cheapest trip to Japan you’ll ever go on!
