To celebrate the end of the sleet and the snow (we hope we haven’t spoken too soon!) and to welcome all things sunshine the Maslenitsa Festival or as its also known The Russian Sun Festival will return for its 5th year.

Taking over Trafalgar Square with traditional Russian arts, culture, music and food including the ‘blini’ a Russian take on the humble pancake, if you didn’t have enough already on Shrove Tuesday. Its the largest celebration of its kind outside of Russia and its free too. Let the Sun dance begin!
