There’s a new tattoo studio in town and it goes by the name of Vagabond. Located on Hackney Road Vagabond is a collaboration from East London Tattoo Artist Paul Hill and Graphic Designer Rebecca Morris. The duo are quickly finding their feet, their focus on exclusive, unique and original tatts that are customised to meet individual specifications.
Having been notified of this new place we thought we’d pop in to check it out and get a tattoo of our own. Inside the place is clean and bright, white walls with framed artworks, smart wooden floors and a few signature pieces dotted around the room to add a bit of rock’n’roll such as the old school motorcycle. The place is great, screaming clean and damn if it had a bar, yep we’d be there tomorrow.
Paul and Becca run a tight ship and are quickly on the case with any last minute details. With the tunes pumping and the sound of chitter chatter in the background Paul went to work on the small design we had created. Covered in tatts his experience speaks for itself, his artwork is showcased on the walls too and they also have tee’s on sale which are pretty cool. It was nice to get some recommendations on what he would do to the tattoo to give it more definition, advice we weren’t going to turn down. An hour later, a statement for life. The detailing and design perfect to every last line. If we’re allowed anymore, we’ll be back for sure. At the very least to cruise past and look through the window.
