The ultimate pre-flight experience, the lounges can be found at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted. We recently visited the flagship location in Heathrow which is pretty special. Made up from various different rooms including a cinema, library, games room, spa and dining area you could literally hang here for hours…don’t, you will miss your flight! Entrance to the lounge includes drinks from the bar, food from the buffet and a hot dish – all of which you can enjoy on comfy seats whilst looking out over the runway.
There are magazines and books to read of if like us you want to start your journey in style grab a glass of red, a plate of cheese and head to the mini-cinema. Otherwise spoil yourself with a massage in the travel Spa or take advantage of the small bedrooms and get your head down, ideal if you are awaiting a connecting flight or have been delayed – they come with en-suite bathrooms too.
There is plenty to keep you occupied and the No1 Traveller Lounge is not as expensive as you might think, bookable from as little as £30. Which when you think about what a meal and drinks costs in the airport at one of the dodgy food outlets isn’t bad!
