this? Another new bar and music venue opening up in Stokie? Indeedy! The name is Birthdays (we’re not quite sure why?!) and it’s located on the High Street, housed in what was a retail unit. The two story fun factory has a whopping great sound system, a stage and lots of pretty lights. On the ground floor you’ll find a bar serving food, cocktails and craft beer – this part won’t open until late May but in the mean time you can run a muk in the basement where the live action takes place. The opening night is tomorrow and it kicks off with some live action from Shigeto / Standard Planets / Greenwood Sharps. Plus there is already a whole host of events planned for the next month.
