Brick Lane Curry Festival is here again! Kicking off on today until May 15th the festival sees Brick Lane transformed into a huge street party with nearly 40 restaurants all fighting to sell you their curries.

This year will also see the introduction of a unique ‘Pitta’ Market at the Culture Park in Allen Gardens, where there will be a rare opportunity to taste traditional delicacies from the households of Sylhet and Bangladesh.

All week the Indian restaurants will be be offering special  ‘Curry Festival Menus’, food discounts, special dishes and performance and dance sequence. A wide range of music will be performed on the main stage in Weavers Fields. A secondary stage will feature the best young and adult artists from across the UK Bangladeshi community and will showcase folk traditions in Allen Gardens.
